Kate Middleton and Prince William attended a special event called the St Patrick's Day Parade.

The parade was held in Aldershot and involved the 1st Battalion Irish Guards.

It was Kate's first time attending as the Colonel of the regiment, a role previously held by Prince William.

Prince William expressed his sadness at giving up the role but praised Kate for being a dedicated and loyal Colonel.

Kate looked stunning in a teal custom coat and matching hat designed by Catherine Walker.

During the event, Kate presented traditional sprigs of shamrock to officers, guardsmen, and even the Irish wolfhound mascot.

The parade concluded with a grand royal salute and a march-past, with Kate taking the salute as the new Colonel.

The couple also had the chance to meet with the Irish Guards Association, which consists of former members of the Irish Guards.

To wrap up the visit, Prince William enjoyed a pint of Guinness while Kate opted for a smaller half pint.
