Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the St Patrick's Day Parade in Aldershot.

It was Kate's first time as Colonel of the regiment, taking over from William.

William expressed sadness but praised Kate's dedication.

Kate wore a stunning teal coat and hat by Catherine Walker.

She presented traditional shamrocks to officers and guardsmen.

The parade ended with a royal salute and march past, with Kate as the new Colonel.

The couple met with the Irish Guards Association.

William enjoyed a pint of Guinness, while Kate had a half pint.

A remarkable day celebrating Irish traditions with a surprising twist!
