The Prince and Princess of Wales paid a visit to South Wales in advance of St. David's Day.

They advocated for mental health initiatives and met with local communities.

At Brynawel Recovery Centre, they learned about addiction treatment.

For over 40 years, the Centre has been providing assistance.

The Royal Foundation is assisting the Centre in the construction of treatment allotments and a garden.

Aberavon Leisure & Fitness Centre was also visited in order to learn more about how sport and exercise affect mental health and well-being.

The Centre provides a variety of physical activities for the community.

The Prince and Princess went on a tour of the facilities and met with young athletes.

The day concluded with a visit to the charity Wales Air Ambulance, which has completed over 43,000 missions.
